There are lots of herbs used for curing or reducing the pain caused in the tooth because of wisdom tooth or gum diseases but the problem with most of them are that they do not really provide a permanent relief. The following are some of the key facts relating to toothache and asafoetida:
1. Asafoetida is used along with lemon juice to get rid of the tooth ache. The asafoetida and the lemon should be mixed well and must be heated for sometime so as to get a better effect.
2. After the heating is done, a cotton piece could be dipped and soaked in the mixture and can be placed on the area where there is pain and discomfort. The relief got through asafoetida and the lemon mixture is very quick.
3. It is important that the cotton is not sucked in by the person and must be kept on the affected place for sometime. After the cotton has been removed, it is essential that the person does not eat or drink anything for atleast half an hour to get eh maximum benefit. The affected should also not be exposed to anything very cold or anything very hot for sometime as that might bring down the effect of the asafoetida.
